LEARNING NOTES · 4 MIN READ

Make room for a new skill

A small, repeatable learning routine can be easier to maintain than an ambitious plan you rarely begin.

Start with a useful question

Choose one thing you would like to do more confidently. You might want to build a website, design a clear presentation, or understand how to plan a campaign. A specific question helps you choose a lesson and decide what to practise.

Make the next step small

Set aside a manageable block of time. Pick one lesson, make a few notes, and try one exercise. If the plan feels too large, reduce the size of the next step until it fits your day.

Practise before moving on

Use what you have learned in a small project. Create a page, sketch a layout, or write a short plan. Practice shows you what you understand and what you need to revisit.

One useful lesson. One small project.

Progress becomes easier to see when you keep a record of what you have made.

Review and continue

At the end of the week, look at your notes and your work. Keep the habits that helped, change what did not, and choose the next skill you want to explore.
